The company party, without the folder nobody fills in

Every internal comms team knows the shared drive that was created for photos and stayed empty. People do not upload to a folder. They will scan a code on the table in front of them.

Why this works where a shared drive does not

  • Nothing to install on a work phone

Managed devices, locked app stores, and staff who will not sign into anything with a work email. A web page sidesteps all three.

  • Somebody is in charge of it

Whoever runs the event gets an owner link and can hide any photo. For a company event that is not a nice-to-have, it is the reason it can be approved.

  • It closes on a date you chose

The album has an end date rather than living forever on a drive nobody audits. When it closes, you have the archive and we are not still holding the photos.

  • Ready for the internal recap

Download everything at once, at full resolution, for the newsletter, the intranet post, or next year's recruitment page.

Questions from HR and comms

Where are the photos stored?

On Cloudflare R2, with the album's records in a European Postgres database. Our Privacy and Data Processing pages set out exactly what is held and for how long.

Can we remove a photo if someone asks?

Yes, immediately, from the owner view. Consent tends to be the blocker on internal photo collection, so removal has to be something you can do yourself in seconds.

What happens at the end?

You download the archive and the album closes on its end date. We are not trying to become the permanent home for your company's photographs.
