Fair usage

The limits are cost controls, not upsells. Everything here maps to a real number in the system.
Upload limits
Each package includes a number of uploads. This is a hard ceiling: at the limit, uploads stop rather than continuing and generating a bill. There is no automatic overage charge, because there is no automatic payment.
Why photos and not gigabytes
Nobody can estimate how many gigabytes a wedding is, but anyone can estimate how many photographs two hundred guests will take. Every album also has an internal storage ceiling, which sits far above what the upload limit can reach in normal use.
Rate limits
There are ceilings on how quickly photographs can be added and how often an archive can be downloaded. They sit far above honest use and exist to stop one person consuming an entire album's quota in two minutes, which would lock out the guests the album is for.
Album lifetime
Albums are active for the window your package covers and then close. Download the archive before that date.
If you hit a limit
Tell us. Raising a limit mid-event takes minutes. Uploads that were never made cannot be recovered afterwards, so if you are close to a ceiling it is worth asking during the event rather than after it.
